3 Reasons Why If He's Not A Good Fit, Don't Force It!

Have you ever been on a date or met a man who you knew wasn't your type but, you didn't want to say anything to offend him or hurt his feelings... so, you just went along to avoid confrontation?
Well, here's why that's not a good idea. In your goal to save face you really  make matters worst.

Although, at times it may seem easier to just go along with the program or better yet, suffer through your initial encounter and promise never, ever to answer his call again.

Confronting anybody or anything is not always a fun thing to do least of all when it has to do with matters of the heart but, sometimes it just has to be done...let's suppose this is one of those times.

#1. Your first stop is to confront yourself
Yes, that's right, If YOU know that you know, this is not a good fit and he's not your type, you will have to be honest with yourself and look that revelation square dead in the eyes and accept it to be true.

#2. Give yourself permission to accept what you know without compromise. This might be the hardest part of this whole process because as women we tend to be very forgiving to the point of overlooking things we should not.

#3. Now, it's time to confront taking action
One way or another you are going to have to confront the issue of your perspective suitor not fittin the bill. You can either ignore your mix matched situation which says you are O.K with it or, you can choose to be get out fast...which is the better route.

Anonymous said, regarding a popular blog post (Here's An Observation) I appreciate your insight Amanda. So powerful. Too many of us go through life this way - used to the way things are and have always been. Awareness can be the first step to making a positive change. The phrase "even though my fingers were curled in an uncomfortable position and the weight of the bag added to unnecessary stress" really spoke to me and reminded me of how we will endure (even to the point of pain or discomfort) for the sake of a relationship. It can be different. It can be better...if we just put down the bag!
